Lynn Sears has heart and passion for serving others.  She joined the Together We Can organization as a board member in 2013.  Lynn met PDail through her membership with Edenton Street United Methodist Church and through volunteering to serve on the January 2013 mission trip to Haiti.  There she fell in love with the children and has taken on fund raising to help the schools in the Montrouis community.

Prior to serving on the Haiti trip, Lynn has been to Guyana on mission trips twice with her daughter, Casie.  In addition to her daughter, she has a son, Ryan, who is joining the 2014 Haiti trip.  Lynn has been married to her husband, Jim, since 1977.  They have just been blessed with their first grandchild.

Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, Lynn and Jim own a commercial drywall and metal stud framing business.  They have been active in this business since its inception in 1995.  Lynn received the National Crystal Achievement Award from the National Association of Women in Construction in 2003 and the National Rising Star Award from Business Women’s Network in 2003.

Lynn has been active as a co-partner with StepUp Ministries since 2011. Prior to that, she has served Habitat for Humanity, Women’s Center of Raleigh, YMCA, Epiphany Center and many other organizations in a volunteer capacity.  She strongly believes that God intended for us to give back to our communities and to love our neighbors.
